Beautiful and simple seascape photography with Adam Karnacz

 

 

Photographer Adam Karnacz headed out to the seascape in Northumberland with his father in hopes of capturing a lovely sunset. He headed out with any specific plan or goals, but just wanted to enjoy a nice day out. Planning ahead is great, but there are certainly times when it's worth just heading out with your camera and seeing what opportunities there are and what kind of images you can capture.

In Karnacz's case, it is a location he's familiar with, so that helps allow him to freestyle effectively. As he explored the beach, he focused on finding strong foreground elements to help tie together compositions.
