We share a lot of videos about portrait techniques, particularly with respect to lighting portraits. However, light is only piece of the puzzle. One of the more challenging aspects of portrait photography is actually how to pose your subject. In the latest episode of How to Photography Everything, photographer and educator Tamara Lackey breaks down a variety of posing techniques.

When trying to make a good image, there are many small details to consider. It can feel like a lot to keep track of while shooting, but with practice, you'll be able to more easily pick up on the little details, such as stray hairs, location of hands, bending of joints, finding the right head tilt and more.
