5 tips for capturing sharp landscape photos

 

 

Last week, we shared a video created by photographer Attilio Ruffo which compared four different focusing techniques you can use when capturing landscape photos. This week, Ruffo is back to share five tips to help you take sharp photos. After all, focus is only one part of the equation when creating a sharp image.

Of the four tips below, the second and third are particularly important: use a tripod and use some form of a remote shutter release. The more stable your camera, the sharper your resulting images. Similarly, Ruffo's fourth tip discusses mirror lock up, which matters if you are using a DSLR. To see the other two tips from Ruffo, watch the full video below.
