Great news for photographers looking to purchase editing software this week. Amazon and B&H offer massive discounts on some of the most popular products but only for a limited time.

Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB

The Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan 1TB 12-Month Subscription is currently on sale at both Amazon and B&H for $139.99. This translates to a savings of $99.89 (-42%) on its original price. The Photography Plan includes:

  • Lightroom
  • Lightroom Classic
  • Photoshop
  • Photoshop Express
  • Adobe Firefly (with 500 monthly generative credits)
  • 1TB of cloud storage

Subscribing to the Photography Plan also allows users to access Adobe Photoshop Beta which includes the latest generative AI features from Firefly. Photoshop Beta also includes the latest Generative Fill technology which gives creators more control when editing.

Do note that this is a limited-time offer and will only apply for 12 months. Subsequent renewals thereafter will be charged $239.88/year. The offer is also different from the Photography Plan 20GB and will not extend or renew existing subscriptions to the 20GB Plan. The offer on Amazon is currently limited to customers in the United States.

Capture One Pro

B&H is also offering a discount on Phase One’s Capture One software suite. Photographers can purchase the Capture One Pro software for only $179 which translates to an instant savings of $120. Unlike the Adobe CC Photography Plan, users can keep the Capture One Pro program forever without any additional subscription fees.

If you are a photographer working mainly inside a studio, Capture One Pro would be a great choice as it allows user to tether their cameras to the software for instant photo previews and storage. The best part about Capture One is that it allows photographers to apply adjustments to incoming photos and control the camera remotely. The software also automatically saves photos onto a drive, eliminating the need for transferring files from a memory card.

Our Recommendation

So, if you are looking to purchase Capture One Pro or subscribe to Adobe CC Photography Plan, now is the best time to do so.

In our experience, Adobe’s Photography Plan is a great choice for photographers looking to streamline workflows with the interconnectivity of Lightroom and Photoshop and the ability to edit photos saved on the cloud. Both Photoshop and Lightroom are also available for mobile devices like the Apple iPad Pro allowing photographers to edit photos anywhere.

Capture One Pro is also a great pickup as it helps produce great images within the studio setting. Integrating Capture One Pro into the studio workflow means cutting down on post-processing work like color grading and lighting adjustments. Having the capability to apply adjustments to incoming photos means clients will get a preview of the final output, eliminating the need for reshoots.

Both are limited-time offers. Grab the discount at Amazon here!
