ProCamera pushes out a major update and price drop for holidays

Daemgen.net announces a major ProCamera update, version 3.5, and a price-drop to £1.49 for the upcoming holiday season.

PRLog (Press Release) - Dec 21, 2011 - Mannheim – As a holiday gift to worldwide iPhoneography fans, ProCamera releases a major update – version 3.5. Continuing in the holiday spirit, ProCamera announces a promotional price drop to £1.49 (from £1.99).

The new features in this holiday update (v-3.5) are:

Codescanner
Codescanner takes ProCamera to a new level! Scan QR, DataMatrix and EAN codes and instantly capture product, service, and event info on your iDevice. Website URLs can be opened instantly; events or vCards can be easily added to your calendar or address book; phone numbers can be dialed with one tap; contents can be copied and pasted. And you can share any worthy info with your friends via e-mail, SMS, Twitter, and Facebook. Combine it with Steady Light to scan codes at night.

Videozoom
Many of our users have requested the ability to use zoom while recording video. ProCamera has responded by implementing “video zoom” in the best way possible (with current hardware abilities). To maintain the optimal frame-rate and quality, video zoom is applied after the video is recorded (post processing). This may take a while for lengthy videos, but will result in high quality videos with 25fps. This is an optional feature, which can be deactivated to get maximum performance.

DropBox Integration
As easily as you can share photos via Facebook, Twitter and Flickr, you can now also share your photos and videos with DropBox. And of course, you can share photos to all of your favorite social networks simultaneously!

Visual Timestamp (in addition to the non-visible EXIF data)
Want to know precisely when you took that picture? Our new Timestamp lets you capture the date, time, and time zone of your photo and writes them on the bottom left of the image.

Facelift
ProCamera’s interface (buttons, icons and settings) now have a new fresh look!

New Preview View
The new preview view (when Auto-Save is turned off) now supports 8x zooming and rotation. This allows you to inspect your photos in detail, from all angles and/or “close in”, before you choose to save or discard them.

Green Mode
We believe even a small contribution to Planet Earth can make things better! We have integrated a new "Green Mode" into ProCamera. Activate Green Mode to save battery life. The device will enter an energy saving mode after the defined timeout in iOS settings. Additionally, GPS resources will be used in a more battery-saving way. If everyone used our new Green Mode effectively, there will be less battery charging necessary, and hence our small contribution to the environment. 

ProCamera Settings
Settings have been completely renewed. Besides a better design, there are plenty of new options available:

• Green Mode

• Photo zoom

• Video zoom

• Video Preview Format (16:9)

• Photo/Video toggle (Direct or Long-Press)

• Ability to add Copyright information to EXIF tags
