Launch prices
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF5 started shipping in the US market from May 2012. Available body colors include black, white, and red. Two kits are offered, both including lenses: a 14-42mm standard zoom kit priced at about US$600; and a 14-42mm power zoom kit priced at around US$750.

The lowest price for the Panasonic GF5 is $430 for a kit with 14-42mm lens, and it is also available in a kit with 14-42mm power lens from $450.
