The Samsung NV30 has an eight megapixel CCD image sensor behind a Schneider-Kreuznach Varioplan branded 3x optical zoom lens. Samsung expands its i-series digicam lineup

17:00 EST - Samsung's announcements today span quite a few of the company's different digicam lines, and one of these models joins its existing i-series.

The Samsung i8 is just slightly smaller than the existing i85 model, being 4mm less wide, and 2.5mm shorter than its older sibling. 17:00 EST - Rounding out an impressively lengthy list of ten digital cameras announced for North American shores today, Samsung has officially launched two models stateside that were first unveiled elsewhere in the world in early December 2007.

The Samsung S760 and S860 are closely related cameras, both aimed at entry-level users.
