Canon 77D Optics
The Canon 77D is available body-only, bundled with the new EF-S 18-55mm f/4-5.6 IS STM lens, or bundled with the new EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM lens. Canon included the latter lens with our test sample, however optically it is identical to the EF-S 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM, so please see our full technical review of that lens here.

Poor accuracy from the optical viewfinder, though very good accuracy from the LCD in Live View mode.

We measured the Canon 77D's optical viewfinder's coverage at only about 93%, well short of Canon's 95% spec, and it was shifted vertically with respect to the sensor as well. Live View mode using the LCD in record mode was much more accurate, resulting in just over 99% coverage.
