Cyber Monday Camera Deal #1)
Nikon D3300 2-Lens Bundle + Wi-Fi Adapter
Nikon D3300 2-Lens Bundle + Wi-Fi Adapter
$496.95 (compare to $1,076.89) SOLD OUT
Includes 18-55mm DX VR II & 55-200mm DX VR II zoom lenses plus a shoulder bag, Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, and Lexar Professional 16GB SD card.
The little Nikon D3300 packs a lot of punch for what's considered an "entry-level" DSLR. Sporting a 24.2-megapixel APS-C sensor without an optical low-pass filter (a unique feature for this class of camera) and nimble EXPEED 4 image processor, the camera captures fantastic images. Fine detail is spectacular and low-light performance is quite good. The beefier processor enhances performance with faster burst shooting and now 1080/60p video plus uncompressed HDMI out -- a decidedly "non-entry-level" feature, which is cool for people looking to record high-quality video via an external recorder.
And now with this cool deal, you get two zoom lenses for a very versatile focal length range, plus the tiny Wi-Fi adapter that lets you instantly share your photos, as well as remotely control the camera for even more creative possibilties -- all for an impressive price just shy of $500! This is a fantastic entry point into Nikon's rich system of cameras, lenses and other accessories, great for a student starting out, or anyone looking for an incredibly capable little camera on a budget.
Cyber Monday Camera Deal #1.5)
Nikon D3300 with 18-55mm Lens + Wi-Fi Adapter + 16GB memory card + Extra Battery + Bag
$396.95 (compare to $646.95) (STILL VALID)
This is a really great deal from our premier partner B&H, the basic Nikon D3300 single-lens kit, with Nikon's holiday deal including the Wi-Fi adapter for just $396, but this package from B&H includes a 16GB memory card, a spare battery, and what looks like a nice little shoulder bag, all for the same $396 price!
Read our Nikon D3300 Review for more details.
Cyber Monday Camera Deal #2)
Nikon D7100 2-Lens Bundle + Wi-Fi Adapter
$996.95 (compare to $1,696.95)
$1,046 (compare to $1,696.95)
Includes 18-55mm and 55-300mm zoom lenses, plus a shoulder bag, Nikon WU-1a Wireless Mobile Adapter, and SanDisk 32GB SD card.
Similar to the D3300 deal above, this cool bundle offers two lenses covering everything from 18mm on the wide end to a very handy 300mm at telephoto, plus you get the Nikon Wi-Fi adapter, a shoulder bag and a 32GB SD card. Though the D7200 comes as the D7100's replacement, the "older model" still has a lot to recommend it. This enthusiast-grade APS-C DSLR offers some of the best image quality we've seen from this class of camera -- great detail, great dynamic range and good high ISO performance to name a few. It also offers great build quality with some weather-sealing, a great ergonomic design, dual memory card slots and great battery life. All told, this a lot of camera for the money with this deal, and at just under $1000, you have a great way to get-up-and-go in one fell swoop to capture everything from landscapes to wildlife!

Cyber Monday Camera Deal #3
Canon T5 with 18-55mm and 75-300mm lenses + 16GB memory card + Filter Kit + Bag
$399.00 (compare to $749)
$449 (compare to $749)
Wow, this is a craazy deal! (It's 1am, and I gotta get to bed, so I'll let someone else make it pretty in the AM with the photo of the camera - but I couldn't resist adding this to the list tonight, so it'll be there for fellow night-owls or early-risers.) The Canon T5 is a great little camera that's now a couple of years old, but it's a very solid, no-frills entry-level camera that takes great photos. The two-lens kit will cover 99% of what an entry-level photographer might want to shoot, and this is a just crazy-cheap price for someone to step up from the world of phones and point & shoots. This competes for the same market as the Nikon D3300 deal at the top of the page, but the D3300 is a newer model with more frills. (Here's a feature comparison of the Nikon D3300 vs Canon T5, and here are the detailed specs for both of them.) Still, while the D3300 has more features, this T5 kit is a full $100 cheaper, and it's a very capable camera that can do a lot, including HD video recording. If you're looking for a rock-bottom deal for getting into serious photography, this is the way to go. (And check out the note below, about how you can add a really superb Canon printer worth $399 to the package, for a net cost of just $99 more! That's a very capable camera with two lenses an a fantastic photo printer, for the same price as that D3300 kit. The T5 is a basic camera, but that's a seriously excellent photo printer you can add, for the same price as the D3300 and lenses alone. It's a dilemma, but the good news is you can't go wrong with either choice!
(The deal here is a bit confusing, in that the B&H page lists this as "Style: With 18-55 &75-300mm Lenses + Bag" and shows a photo of a Canon bag with the kit, but the list of what's included doesn't mention a bag.)
(Also note this link, which lists "conditional rebates" you can get when buying other Canon products at the same time. In particular, you can get $300 back in the form of an Amex Reward Card if you buy one of three great Canon photo printers at the same time, or $350 back if you buy the printer and a 50-pack of 13x19" paper. So if you for instance added an (excellent!) Canon PIXMA PRO-100 printer, it would only cost you an additional $99 after the rebate, for a $400 printer! That'd be a $500 deal worth $1,148! The deal's good through January 2, and you'll have unti February 2 to get your rebate paperwork in the mail to Canon.)
Cyber Monday Camera Deal #4
Canon 7D Mark II Body-only
$1,299 (compare to $1,799)
$1,399 (compare to $1,799)
Includes 13 months Of complimentary damage protection & priority service from Canon, plus a shoulder bag and extra Watson LP-E6N battery.
Note: A similar deal is also available from Adorama that includes Green Extreme LP-E6/N battery, Toshiba 16GB SD card, and an Adorama sling bag.
After 5 years, Canon's impressive 7D received its long-awaited upgrade in the Fall of 2014. This Mark II model offers sports, action and wildlife photographers a whole host of amenities normally featured in Canon's 1D-series of professional cameras: a powerful 65-pt. AF system, Dual DIGIC 6 processors, Dual Pixel CMOS AF (for fantastic video focusing), improved build quality and more advanced video features. In our tests, the 7D Mark II's new 20MP APS-C sensor offers excellent image quality with improved high ISO performance over the original. Performance is nimble with fast burst shooting, and the ability to focus to f/8 is a real boon for teleconverter users. In addition to the extraordinary autofocusing provided by Canon's unique Dual Pixel CMOS AF, video is further enhanced with a 1080/60p option, multiple quality settings, and input jacks for both headphones and a mic.
With savings of $500, now's the time to pounce if you've been considering moving to Canon's latest-and-greatest prosumer APS-C DSLR. And though the 7D Mark II boasts rugged construction including some weather sealing, this deal also includes 13 months of Canon CarePak damage protection for free. Don't let harsh conditions hamper your photography; Canon's service organization is arguably the best in the business, so the 13 months of damage protection is a great benefit!

Cyber Monday Camera Deal #5

Panasonic GH4 body-only + $150 B&H Gift Card
$1,297.99 ($1,147.99, including value of gift card; compare to $1,497.99) (STILL VALID)
As Panasonic's flagship Micro Four Thirds mirrorless camera, the GH4 pulls double-duty as both a high-quality, advanced stills camera, and also as a well-regarded, professionally-capable video camera. For photos, image quality is great for its class, and the performance on numerous fronts (AF speed and burst shooting, for example) are fantastic. For video, the GH4 was one of the first on the block with 4K recording (in-camera, no less) at an affordable price, and its 4K footage is simply stunning. Its HD video is excellent as well, but 4K gives you the ability to shoot at that resolution, then downsample to produce incredibly high-quality HD. There are a boat-load of features for video that make the GH4 suitable for video beginners and professional videographers alike. The Panasonic GH4 is a like a Swiss Army Knife for both stills and video, and there's an incredible range of truly excellent lenses available for the Micro Four Thirds platform, from both Panasonic and Olympus.
