Launch prices
The Sony SLT-A77 became available in the US market from October 2011. Body-only pricing is set at approximately US$1,400, while a kit version including the Sony DT 16-50mm F2.8 SSM standard zoom lens is priced at around US$2,000. (The lens itself is also available separately, priced at around US$800.) The VG-C77AM vertical grip costs about US$300.
Current prices
The lowest price for the Sony A77 is $1,899 for a kit with 18-135mm lens, and it is also available in body only and a kit with 16-50mm lens.
