Samsung NX30 Optics
We've already tested the Samsung 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 III OIS kit lens on the NX300 which shares the same sensor and processor, so hop on over to our Samsung NX300 Optics page to see how it performs. The Samsung NX30 is available bundled with the Samsung 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS NX lens, which has a 35mm equivalent focal range of about 27-84mm. Its ~3.1x zoom ratio is about average for a bundled lens, however far-field optical performance at f/8 appears to be slightly above average for a kit lens, with good sharpness and contrast across much of the frame.

The Samsung NX30's AMOLED monitor and electronic viewfinder both proved to be very accurate, showing just over 100% coverage in our tests. Very good results here, though expected from an image derived from the sensor.
