Sanyo announces 3mpix digital camcorder
12:41 EDT - Sanyo Japan has announced a new and rather interesting-looking digital video camera, the Sanyo Xacti (pronounced Zack-Tee) DMX-C1.

Olympus announces Camedia C-5060 Zoom
00:33 EDT - Olympus USA has announced a new addition to its Camedia line of digital cameras in the form of the C-5060 Zoom digital camera (the announcement was moved up a couple of days earlier than when we'd been expecting it without warning, so we're a bit late getting to it - sorry!)
